First off, sorry for the late posting! It has been a busy week being gone on our honeymoon, which we renamed, our familymoon, and getting back to work and the normal household things! So speaking of our familymoon, we had a great week at Michigan Adventure(the matching outfits Paige came up with say it all!), Grand Haven and the Sleeping Bear Dunes. We stayed an extra day to play in the gorgeous weather up north, sun and sand everyday! The day we headed home though, our weather luck ran out. We woke to clouds and it just continued to get darker and darker by the minute. By the time we started making good time on the road, it started to rain. The term "rain" I use loosley. It POURED, and I again use that term loosely. We drove through torential downpour. I have never seen rain come down that hard for 3 solid hours. The wipers on high did NOTHING to help clear the sight which was about 2 feet in front of the car. So what is the problem here? In typical male fashion, Mike reassured me everytime I stopped breathing that "We're fine". LOL! Fine? Uh, we couldnt see a dang thing out the window! I would have pulled over and cried if it was me driving! By the time we were driving through construction roads(it is Michigan of course) I couldnt watch anymore. He drove with one hand while his other held mine (very sweet if our lives were not in jeopardy)! We FINALLY get to this side of Lansing and the rain let up so you could at least see the car tail lights in front of us when he says "wow, my nerves are shot from this drive!" Ya think? LOL! (I will admit though that when we were looking for something in Empire Michigan that we couldn't find, he did stop and ask for directions) Thanks for getting us home safely baby, but next time I have 2 words for you-PULL OVER! I'm just sayin....
First of all as Casey said, we had a fantastic week in NW Michigan! To be able to spend that time with my beautiful wife and our 3 amazing children was priceless! The weather was perfect until the day we left... Yes it rained, yes it poured, yes the windshield wipers were on high flopping back and forth like a fish out of water, yes I couldn't see "that" much out of the window, but we were FINE! LOL! Pull over?? Seriously? Why would I do something like that?? We were only going 55 and I could see the road... a little... so why would I pull over? I mean I had a GPS that was showing me the curves in the road!! (thank God for that, lol) See ladies, us men are born with the ability to drive in all sorts of weather and NOT pull off the road and cry!! Why would you do that anyways? Please somneone explain that one to me! I did try and break the tension of the ride with a very funny quote from a total guy movie - Caddyshack - "I don't think the heavy stuff is going to come down for quite a while" was met with a blank stare! Baby that was funny and so well timed!! I ALWAYS hold Casey's hand while I drive, that certainly wasn't the time to change that up, as I would have missed out on the nails digging into my skin and the moisture build up on your hands! LOL! Will I pull over the next time?? probably not... but I will say this - I will ALWAYS make sure the most important things in my life, my wife and girls are always safe and if that means pulling over I will... BUT NO CRYING! I'm just saying.....

You guys are WAY too much!! lol!
So glad you all had fun on the 'honeymoon'!
You two have become that couple that no one can stand, but has to put up with. LOL. I know Mike knows what I'm talking about, lol, you would always make fun of couples that dressed alike or held hands everywhere they went. LOL. But now its you, so its ok. LOL. Whatever, just don't be surprised when I vomit, on you next time we hang out. LOL
